Jolly Old Jones
Jolly Old Jones compares himself to Santa Claus, and with good reason. He gives thousands of coin to players 21-80 who go through his Daily Bounty Orders dialogue about the Bounty quests, and to those players who do the Bounty quests themselves. He can found next to the Guide for starting players; ie, at each of the three first cities
At the highest level he gives quests, in the range of 71-80, his daily Reward is 158,000 coins; he always gives 7 Bounty Orders upon taking the daily reward quest, and gives, for that level range, 88,000 coins for each Bounty Order quest completed, for a total of 774,000 coin each day.
The Jones' Blessing of +30 attack levels is named after him. See "O'Malley Blessing" of +15 attack/defense

JoJ locations:
- 422 836 : Inn of the Eagle: Out the south gate of Etherblade City, down the hill
- 256 690 : The Northern Pass: Out the north gate of City of the Lost, up and past the steep slope to the left. This is the easiest accessed, most popular, most crowded Jones location and the only one with an Advanced Grinding Machine
- 368 461 : Battlemark Village: Across the river to the north, the furthest from the City of the Joneses, about a quarter mile.

- PWI Fourth Anniversary
- PWI celebrates its fourth anniversary. All players can receive anniversary gifts from the Anniversary Page. Veterans of the game will receive increasingly rare or powerful presents.

- "Reflections" Content Update
- Another content update for PWI was released on 8th August 2012. This update adds a new zone for players at lvl 31+, new daily quests for intermediate level players (lvl 20-40), as well as numerous minor updates to gear, items, skills and the PK system. EXP and coin rewards for the beginner quests for Humans, Winged Elves and Untamed have also been updated to better conform with that gained from Tideborn and Earthguard beginner quests.

- "Imperial Fury" Content Update
- The newest content update for PWI was released on 23rd May 2012. The update expands the high-level area of Morai, and also includes updates to some older instances.

- The next major content expansion to Perfect World International, titled PWI: Descent, was released on February 15 2012. Read the launch post, the announcement article and visit the teaser site.
